The purpose of this newsletter is to capture and bottle as much entrepreneurial value as humanly possible. One email, everything that you’ll need to start, buy or scale a business.

It’s truly an extension of the lessons that learned from myself as well as the experts we talk to along the way.

With that said, I have my hands in a handful of things. As I'm sure you do as well.

A few startups, a few businesses that are already operational and a few acquisitions…

I’m obsessed with entrepreneurship and endless possibilities of building your own empire.

There’s a quote by Dan Martell from a podcast that he was on Front Row Dads Podcast where he talks about what his empire looks like:

“My empire: A life of unlimited creation that you never have to retire from… [It’s] the ability to create with abundance.”

I probably rewound and played that quote about 15 times the day I first heard it. It struck a cord.

Because that’s exactly what we’re trying to do here. That’s what I want for YOU.

##That’s what this newsletter discusses.

All of that and everything in between.

And that’s also why we’re building a community hyper-focused on those goals.

How one DM can change your life 👇

The other day I had the opportunity to speak with an incredible entrepreneur, Shannon Jean.

He’s a legend, and STILL crushing it. He’s fairly new on Twitter and I’m thankful that I caught him when I did because he’s doing some BIG things.

I followed him a while back and immediately resonated with his work. He’s done all the things I’m currently doing and trying to do.

He’s been there and done that.

I knew that if I could get in touch with him, he would be a man to learn from.

So I DMd him on a whim and to my surprise, he responded.

We hopped on a call and it changed my life.

I break the entire call down here if you want to dive deep. ([Deep Dive])tab:https://x.com/kevinasrx/status/1810458625460330783?s=46&t=0i88psgkxMkv0hsWtu9U3Q))

The point

📌 Success won’t come to you, you have to go out there and grab it!

And “self made” is a myth. There will always be someone or something that you can and SHOULD learn from to better yourself.

I might have a few things figured out, but Shannon has more.

When I wanted to understand the self storage business on a better level, I found a mentor in that space.

When I wanted to learn more on business acquisitions, I found a mentor there.

You take as much as you can from as many places as you can and you bottle them up to make your own personal formula.

Your own blueprint.

With that, find people in the space you want to be in and reach out.

Life Hack --> THE best time to connect with someone is either before they create a program or when they are launching it for the first time.

Every coach/ mentor needs a beta round of members as a “proof of concept”. They’ll pour into that group the most.

I’ve been in a few first groups. It’s worth it.

đź’Ž #3 Use an Alter Ego To Succeed

There was a study from the University of Minnesota of four- and six-year-old children about how to teach perseverance,

The researchers put a toy in a locked glass box and gave the kids a ring of keys. The catch? No key worked. The researchers wanted to see how to improve the children’s executive functioning skills and were interested in seeing how long they would try to unlock the box and what they would try.

The researchers then gave them strategies to help them.

The Strategies:

The results were that the kids that stayed with it the longest were the ones that really got into their pretend roles. They were more flexible and calmer

One four-year-old even said, “Batman never gets frustrated.”

I hope you enjoyed reading this newsletter as much as I enjoyed writing it. I pour into it through the week and then tie a nice bow on it over the weekend to get it out. I LOVE this stuff!

If you found any of it valuable, or know someone as obsessed with entrepreneurship as you and I are, please feel free to share this link

Until next time...

Stay in the fight,
