1 day/year Making 6 Figures
1 day/ year event business making 6 figures??
Ok, this is a good one. Almost don’t want to share this because it’d be amazing to start…
But here it is

I went to a Father/ daughter dance last night at my local community center.
It was AWESOME.
Here’s the current model:
run by local community center
$25/person
DJ / games/ pizza/ dancing
Here’s my add on:
“Dad & Me Event Co.”
A plug-and-play, high-quality Father’s Day event company
start locally and test it out. It’s just a 1 day event.
Once proof of concept is strong, expand into a low cost “franchise” style model in a second city. Then a third.
Tack on a local newsletter in each market to build a following/ revenue during the rest of the year
Here’s how I’d do it:
Host 1 local MVP event (rec center, school, church)
Document everything: photos, testimonials, video
Create a simple playbook: schedule, games, playlist, printables
Partner with local dads/groups to host in their cities
Upsell merch, sponsorships, & seasonal themes
Expand to “Mom & Me,” birthdays, holidays
The package—
partner with PTAs, moms, rec centers, side-hustlers
You provide branding, playbook, marketing templates, customer support, and event assets.
split 50/50
THE MONEY:
Avg. Tickets Sold per event - $25/person. 100 families = $5000
5 locations x $5k revenue = 25k
10 = $50k
Running 3 events per year (Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day ) you’re at $150k
Add in revenue from upsells like
Photo Booth
t shirts
other merch
And you’re well over $200k with high margins.
Maybe even franchise it and charge $999 / year and take a 10% royalty for education event.
