$40K Role Replaced by $100/Month AI

Twitter Post

I legit just had a call with a company that has been using Claude for the past few weeks and just eliminated the need for a $40k/year position.

Without getting too far into the weeds, the main theme was automated tracking.

EXAMPLES:

Contract tracking --> Claude now automatically lists which contracts have been issued and their status, so someone doesn't have to manually chase them down

Certificate of Insurance tracking --> flags missing certificates from subcontractors, so reminder emails can go out within minutes instead of getting lost in the shuffle

Billing schedule visibility --> shows exactly when payouts went out , what's pending, and upcoming submissions.

Phase-based project breakdown --> organizes every active project by phase with a clean snapshot

Here is the math: A project coordinator at $30–40K salary plus benefits/health insurance/overhead

vs.

~$100/month for the AI tool.

They jokingly named it "Claudia."
