A Decade of Growth, and This Season Finally Feels Right!
For the majority of the last 10 years, this was what Thanksgiving looked like.
I’d head to work before anyone got up and would count down the hours until my wife would swing by so the kids could see me before heading to her parents.
This year, things look a little different. And I’m incredibly thankful for that.
But I wouldn’t trade any of those years back. They have shaped me into who I am today and in many ways are what drive me to succeed.
There’s a quote that I think about often that goes:
"I believe that what I want has been deliberately placed out of reach and fraught with obstacles so that I can become the person capable of attaining it. I’m either going to succeed or I’m going to grow."
Those are really the only two choices that exist. You’re either going to succeed or you’re going to grow. Sometimes you’re in the growth season for a LONG time.
But please trust me on this; stay in it. The outcome will be worth it.
