AI isn't scary
I had a call with another fractional AI officer the other day. She’s consulting for a company led by a woman in her mid 30s.
According to my friend, this 30something founder is completely scared and untrusting of AI.
Also at the company is another woman in her 70s that my friend built a custom GPT for so that she can talk Into it, it’ll record her notes and organize them as she wants.
She’s 70!
It’s easy to stereotype people based on age with new technological advancements
BUT
There’s something so much more here that we need to remember.
This is a technological advancement greater than anything else we’ve seen.
Which means there will be deep rooted almost emotional reactions like we’ve never seen.
The founder in her 30s is a perfect example. SOMETHING has triggered that reaction. Regardless of her age.
The essence of this industry right now is being a good teacher/ coach.
And in order to be good at that, you have to be able to communicate complicated or complex messages simply AND in a way that one person you’re talking to will soak it in.
Hot take:
The only two things you need to do to carve a space in this industry:
stay up to date on all the new developments
be able to communicate and teach well
