Being an Entrepreneur is like Fixing a Garbage Disposal

Fixing a garbage disposal is like being an entrepreneur;

Hear me out…

At first, I had no idea what I was doing. Something was going on under there that I couldn’t explain, but I knew I needed to solve a problem.

It was unknown and uncomfortable, but the only way that anything was going to get done immediately was if I rolled up my sleeves and did it.

Sure it could be hired out, but that’d take for more time and money than I was willing to spend right now.

There are tons of resources. People that have been there and done and who are sharing their experience. You just have to find the RIGHT resource to aid in your quest.

It’s not easy. People you listen to make it seem like it is, but when you’re doing it for the first time, it’s not. Now that I’ve done It with MYA specific situation, it seems easy. But during the process, it was very difficult.

It’s messy. You’re going to break things and have to take multiple trips to the “store” to by more things to do what you need to do.

You can Macgyver something together from home, but it’s best if you spend a little money in the minimal equipment.

It’s not necessarily going to be fun at times. Sure, the process is cool because you’re doing something you’ve never done before and you want the end result, BUT the process isn’t always sexy.

It’ll get messy. Be prepared.

In order to reach the results you want, solve the problem that you see and do something you’ve never done before to better the future of your household, sometimes you’ve gotta roll up your sleeves, and figure it out.

It’s not going to be perfect, but with enough persistence, you WILL get it done.
