Connection over Perfection
Connection > Perfection
It’s easy to get wrapped up in wanting a perfect scenario when connecting with someone.
The perfect backdrop
No background noise
ample time
no distractions
But the reality is that the connection you’re making is far more important than any of that.
I had the opportunity to hop on the phone with one of my favorite authors and entrepreneurs, @itscoachgoodman this morning for a super quick chat.
It was last minute, I was driving into work, had to stop and get gas, I had traffic noise in the background, and so many variables that made it far less than perfect.
BUT— none of that mattered. The connection was what mattered. And it was awesome.
Don’t let amazing connections slip through the cracks because you don’t have the perfect set up.
