DJ Elon And His Twisted Value Test

Twitter Post

There’s a lot of talk about the Twitter algorithm not showing love to value posts the way it used to…

and I have a theory…

WHAT IF

(Stick with me here in this)

… WHAT IF it’s all a big, sick, test?

I imagine Algorithm HQ like a big recording studio board that DJ Elon stands next to with one ear covered by his headphones and the other open.

As he stands there as the DJ of this party, he reaches over to the VALUE BOOST dial and turns it down to see if the crowd will still sing…

Ok breaking from the analogy.

Here’s my pie in the sky theory:

Value post boosts are not the same, but maybe it’s just to see who still remains standing.

Shitposts draw attention, sure, but that’s not where the longevity is. That’s not what drew us here in the first place.

It’s the higher tier of followers on this platform. The growth seekers. The networkers. The BIG thinkers. The readers.

THESE are kinds of people that make Twitter what it is.

But who of you will be here when the dust settles?

IF my theory is correct, then those that stick it out will be rewarded from their dedication to producing value.

But let’s say it’s not a test. Maybe it’s just a random occurrence that value posts aren’t boosted as much… It’s STILL worth it to produce value.

Ask yourself:

That should be the majority of your posts.

Since this is such a long post, it’s probably not going to get too many views. Whatev!

But if you are one of the lucky dozen to view this on your timeline, AND you read all the way through, I’d love to hear YOUR pie in the sky theories.

Nothing logical please, only nonsense ideas on the algorithm and what to do about it 🤣😉
