Everyone Loves to Work— If It’s the Right Work
I believe that everyone can love to work if they find the right work to love.
I’m experiencing this right now with subs not responding to jobs being sent to them and I find myself thinking “well I guess they don’t like money” or “not everyone is willing to work”…
Both of which could be articulated. BUT the more I think about it, the more I realize I'm not seeing the whole picture.
I bet… actually I believe— that anyone and everyone would be willing to work and fall in love with the work, if it’s the RIGHT WORK.
The problem is, most don’t find it. And if they do, it might not pay the bills. Most have to settle for a J O B doing work they don’t like. That’s the norm, by far.
But just imagine if you did find that work that made you excited. That got you out of bed in the morning, that kept you up late at night thinking about.
How much of a game changer would that be? Would you ever want to retire from it? Probably not.
If you don’t like your work, you’re not alone. You just have to find something that you DO like. And the only way to find that, honestly— is to chase the shiny objects.
Chase away and go find work that you love.
