“Falling in love with the work”

[Body]

In my past life, fitness coaching was how I made a living.

While I don’t make a living doing that anymore, health & fitness are still a HUGE part of my life…

I do it all—

Run, CrossFit, Jiu Jitsu, weight lifting, swimming, Rucking, etc. just all the fitness.

And over the years people have asked me about my regimen / diet. Like anyone would, they want a blueprint. A solution. The ANSWER to be in the best shape…

But the truth is, NOTHING I say will make any difference UNLESS…

They love it.

I LOVE working out. I LOVE dialing in my nutrition and staying on top of it.

The “work” is the fun part for me. And because of that, I’ve been working out and eating dialed in pretty much everyday for the last 20 years.

Each year I have fitness goals— but it’s the daily work that I REALLY enjoy…

I’m sure you’re picking up what im putting down, but I’ll bring this full circle:

[Conclusion]

You could absolutely become successful doing something you don’t love. It happens all the time. But as I sit here and analyze what has made me successful in health and fitness, I realize that it’s not WHAT I’ve done, just the fact that I LOVE doing it and have done it for a. Longggg time.

[Afterword]

The key is to find the intersection of what you love doing and what you can earn a living with and then, you never have to “retire”.
