Follow Up or Fall Behind
If you're not following up 40+ times, how bad do you even want to land the deal??
I have a buddy in marketing that just landed a HUGE client in the protein bar space (can't tell you who) and it took 8 months with 40+ follow ups to land it
Here are the deets:
My buddy saw the company and knew they would be amazing to have them as a client... so he went after it
FIRST - cold emails
These were set up in a sequence that were timed out over weeks and months based on the response
SECOND - DM'ing the founder personally on all social media platforms, but mostly the ones that they would get less traffic on.
For example, if they are big on IG, try and find their linkedin or personal FB. Those are the places that less people are messaging
THIRD - Dont just DM, also engage on social media. Be a regular commenter. Like their posts and/ or Re post them. All these little things add up
MOST IMPORTANT - Dont quit. Stay in it. play the long game. theres too much awesome tech out there to help you with this stuff you NOT do it.
It took my buddy 8 months, but now he has a WHALE of a client and a very lucrative monthly retainer with them
