Growing on Twitter Is Both Art and Science
Growing on twitter is both an art and a science.
And to be honest, I haven't QUITE figured it out yet, but these are a few of my observations from working incredible influencers who have.
Long form posts
Videos with transcripts as the copy
Videos with one sentence hooks
Replying to your comments as much as you can
Commenting valuable things on the posts of others. this isnt an algorithm thing, this is a "people will see and be interested in the source of the comment" thing
Doing cool things and then talking about those things. Not just talking about cool things others do
Giving more than you receive. Your followers think about themselves. Your content should generally be about how YOU can help THEM
Humility and transparency goes a LONG way.
Volume. Post 2+ times a day minimum and follow the rules above
Don't be a jerk. This is obvious, but still needs to be said.
Like I said, I don't have it all figured out. I'm very much in the process of building my brand and finding my "sex" as @ShannonJean calls it. (amazing follow by the way)
BUT for whatever reason, I've been able to convince some amazing entrepreneurs that I know enough to help them with theirs. Not sure how that happened, but here we are. ;)
