I Told My Dad to Let AI Teach Him AI
My dad is 63 and pretty well versed with computers.
He minored in computer engineering in the 80s until he realized he didn't want to spend his life around 0's and 1's
He's following AI, but not actively using it. I'm basically his news source for this.
The other day he said that he wanted to take a course to catch up on everything AI.
While I don't disagree, this was my response:
Dad, spend $20/mo on Claude and tell it what you are telling me. Have it design a course one module at a time to teach you everything that you want to know about AI. Then if you want to get fancy, make it into a website or an interactive game. Let AI teach you AI.
Would anyone say anything different or add to that?
