I Went To Film School For 7 Years And Then Did This

Twitter Post

Not a lot of people here know this, but I went to art school from 6th grade through 12th grade and majored in film.

This was a time when movies were filmed in miniDV & VHS. We had to convert it to digital just to edit

I learned on adobe premier and then graduated to Final Cut Pro back when it was a physical CD we had to use to load the software. 🤯

As a senior I was enrolled and ready to go off to the Art Institute of San Francisco until a last second change of mind.

I made a HARD right turn and went through fire academy.

That led to my interest in anatomy and physiology

Which led to my degree in kinesiology.

I paid my way through college coaching at gyms where I met a ton of cops living a great life.

I was married at 23 and by 25 I knew I needed something more substantial to build a family.

At 25 I became a cop…

But the creator, the artist, the entrepreneur in me never went away.

Now, in the prime of my life, I have 3 kiddos and a wife who’s way out of my league.

I push the “black and white” by day, but in the early hours before my world wakes up, I grind.

I’m building BIG things with BIG “whys” and I’m sharing as much of the process as humanly possible.

I made this video because I woke up with a wild idea and I couldn’t get it out of my head. Then I sent it to the founder of the company Forage Mail, @richiebonilla

I just did it.

You don’t need permission to just do things like that.

Be bold and build sht*.
