I recently had to go back to my old police department for an event.

It’s been 5 months since I left that career

I had worked there for 10 years…

And guess what?

Nothings really changed.

There’s still crime

People continue on with their day

Some didn’t even know I left

No me was begging me to come back

And everyone wants to know how it is on “the outside”.

If you think you’re indispensable, you’re not.
