1. It’s never too late to start

2. The best time to start was yesterday, the second best time is today.

These principles apply to most things, but where I really saw this was as a coach at a gym for most of my teens and 20s

More people than you’d expect would come in wanting to start working out for the first time in their 50s, 60s, 70s or older.

First off, that’s amazing! I love seeing that. But it also leads to the question:

“Why now? Why not 30 years ago?”

And the answer was always a variation of

All of us have those variables. Those will always be there.

The root here was that fitness wasn’t a priority.

Until it became one.

Most of these clients came in because they needed to change their lifestyle immediately.

What I learned from this was the lessons above.

Take these and sub in whatever else you’re aspiring to do.

This isn’t just fitness.

This is for your business idea.

This is for leaving the w2 you hate

This is for asking that girl out.

This is for spending time with your kids.

These principles apply to all.

The only way you can fail at this is by not doing anything.
