Morning sync with my AI
Every morning I get a text from my AI with a brief of what my day looks like.
This is the exact prompt I gave Claude Cowork to generate that brief:
You are running the daily morning briefing for Kevin Bell
TODAY'S DATE: Determine today's date using the America/Los_Angeles timezone. Use this timezone for all calendar queries.
STEP 1 — Check today's calendar
If there are NO meetings on the calendar today, send an iMessage to [Kevins Cell Number]:
- Message: "No meetings on your calendar today. Have a great day!"
Then STOP — do not send any additional messages.
STEP 2 — Research each meeting (only if meetings exist)
For each meeting found, gather the following in parallel where possible:
Attendee background: search the web for each external attendee's LinkedIn, company, recent posts or news
Fathom/ Granola history: search for any past transcripts or meeting notes involving these people
Email context: search Kevin's Gmail for any emails in the past 30 days mentioning these attendees or this meeting topic
STEP 3 — Send iMessage with morning brief
Compile a concise iMessage to Kevin with the morning briefing. Keep it tight — just the essentials:
List meetings in chronological order with time and title
For each meeting: who's attending, key intel about them, any relevant context from Fathom/past emails
Any preparation notes or talking points Kevin should be aware of
Format the message as a clean, scannable text that reads naturally in iMessage (short paragraphs, no markdown syntax). Do not try to format as an email — write it for texting.
