How Far Away Are You From FU Money?

There’s an image that swirls around in my head about where people are in their success journey.
It drew it on this dirty napkin the other day for this post.
It starts with the GRIND
Then you have MODERATE SUCCESS
Then SUCCESS
Then you’re CRUSHING IT
After that you have LEAVE ME ALONE MONEY (@ShannonJean )
And lastly you have FU MONEY
I’m sure there’s another stage after that, but for this illustration we’ll stop there.
The point of this is:
The further you get away from the GRIND, the harder it is to remember the feelings of being in the grind.
You might have an outlook on it from a perspective of success.
You might even feel it like it was yesterday.
But you’re out of it now.
You know that it’s possible. YOU DID IT.
But when you’re in it, all you have is faith and ambition.
You don’t know for certain how it ends yet.
That’s why I think it’s important to keep people from EACH of these “zones of success” in your circle (no pun intended).
Maybe you’re in the grind right now. You need people that are juuuuust out of that.
You can see them, hear them, talk to them, learn from them.
Then you need people that are actually successful. Thats probably your first goal. You can wave at them and they can wave back.
You can probably still DM them and get their response.
After that it starts to get out of hand. The ones crushing it, have leave me alone money or even FU money.
Those people seem so far away at first. Those are who you dream about being like.
Those don’t always want to provide value without anything in return.
They’ve been there and done that and their time is VALUABLE.
But stay persistent. Show them how much heart, faith and ambition you have.
Eventually you’ll find someone that is your success spirit animal.
HANG ON TO THEM. Provide THEM with as much value as you can and be a sponge.
It’ll take some time, but if you pursue people in these zones of success and bring them into your circle, you’re going to blink and one day you’re the one in the outer zones.
Just remember where you came from when some motivated and dedicated “kid” starts pursuing YOU.
