In 1954 Roger Bannister was the first person to run a sub 4min Mile. 3:59.4
Before him, people thought it couldn’t be done.
“You’d kill yourself doing it.”
“The body wasn’t meant to do that.”
Once he did it, multiple others did it within months after…
Sometimes all you need is proof that it’s possible.
And that proof doesn’t always come from an internal belief.
It’s helpful to have that “anything is possible” belief, but SOMETIMES you need to see it to believe it.
And that’s okay.
The key is recognizing those paradigm shifting scenarios and ACTUALLY doing something about it.
“They did it, and so can I”
You don’t always need to have the unwavering belief, instead leverage someone’s else’s UNTIL you realize what you’re capable of.
