A Lawyer's Take on AI
My neighbor is a lawyer. He’s 40 years old and a smart dude. Tech savvy and up to date on world events.
I was talking to him yesterday when the convo about AI came up.
To my surprise he said:
“yeah, I’ve been battling it for a while now, I really should give it a try…”
Twitter— we are in a bubble. A bubble that’s a year or more ahead of most of the general pop.
If this young, smart, lawyer neighbor of mine still “needs to give AI a try”, it’d be safe to say that most of the world doesn’t even know it exists.
Here’s generally what I’ll say to someone who is AI curious and how to dip their feet in.
Download a model to your phone. Grok, Claude, Chat GPT, whatever. Just have it where you can regularly use it and experiment with it
Subscribe to a couple AI newsletters just to stay in the know and learn the new developments.
That’s really the best place to start. Slowly but surely seeing the opportunities to integrate AI into your everyday.
I made this a little while back, but these are some of the fun tools and uses of AI that I’ve enjoyed.
