I want to make today as practical and user friendly as humanly possible.

Every week I genuinely dont plan out this newsletter because I want to see how the week goes, what comes up, what I'm doing/learning/seeing that is relevant to you RIGHT NOW. And that's what pour out into these letters

This week did not disappoint

On Monday I had a call with a good buddy of mine and went over a content machine workflow that I will share with you today

And Wednesday I met up in person with another good friend of mine and we talked about a TON of things AI related. I want to share with you how he is utilizing AI for his multiple 6 figure business and how ANYONE can do this...

FIRST, completely shameless plug, but if you live in the Orange County area, I've launched a local newsletter specifically for the OC beach cities and all the fun activities that happen each week. It would be AWESOME to have you there —> 🔗theocbuzz.com

WORKFLOW ONE — Your own personal content machine

The backstory on this is I am chewing around the idea of launching a podcast. I've been thinking about this for a long time now, but nothing really stood out to me as a subject worthy enough to have a show about… until someone suggested one that had been right in front of me this whole time.

I'll tease you with that and share with you more as the episodes come out… I promise!

Today however we are going to talk about the workflow for this here.

Podcasts have been notoriously daunting to put together. And in many ways they still are at the higher levels. The work we do not The Koerner Office is essentially a mini film production each week with scripting, filming, editing, postings etc. BUT Chris is not the norm here. Very few podcasts need to be at that level and ALL podcasts start small.

When you are small and just starting out, it's SO important to create systems that can take care of the "80%" and allow you to put the final 20% touches on it.

THIS is how you do it:

  • Film your pod through Descript
  • Connect Claude to the Descript MCP so that you can just talk naturally into Claude and it will access your project and do what you need it do do
  • Point Claude at your project and direct it to edit the long form you recorded, create clips that are viral worthy, and then take the transcripts and write Linkedin/twitter/ blog posts in your voice.
  • Sit back and let it work
  • While thats happening in the background, you can connect to the Higgsfield MCP and generate Youtube thumbnails
  • At this point, you now have an edited long form, several clips, posts to go on all the other platforms you have and a YT thumbnail. THAT is pretty much 80% of the work. The rest is just posting it properly

This stuff is not hard anymore. It totally USED to be. There was definitely a moat to getting this all put together, but now, its just a matter of having the desire to create… or not

WITH THAT said, however, this is one thing I want you to think through — There are now SO many podcasts out there, that it's not about just creating a podcast anymore. Thats not enough.. also, no one cares…. it's about finding the exact person you want to talk to. That's what matters. You need to clearly identify the very specific person you want to reach and then produce content for them.

WORKFLOW TWO — If you run business, you need your own custom CRM

This one is less of a workflow and more of a "you should just do this" kind of thing.

The other day I met up with a good friend of mine who I've worked with on businesses and ventures in the past. Currently, his big needle mover is an autoglass repair company in LA.

The thing is…

  • HE doesn't repair anything himself
  • There isn't one specific location that he has a "shop"
  • He operates everything remotely

The way this works is he has subs all across the county that do the actual work. What he does is establish websites and google business profiles in various locations, run ads to those "businesses" and then funnels the leads into his back office and dispatch the sub.

This is the exact model that I used for the home service subcontracting business I had in South Dakota if you've been here long enough to remember that.

It works really well if you can find a good market for this.

With all of that going on in the background, he realized that the CRMs they had been using were still not exactly what he needed. So like any good vibecoder today would, he created his own.

I'd love to give you all the sauce of how he did it, but its BASICALLY— "Hey Claude, this is my business, these are all the things that I'm doing, these are the files and folders associated with everything, this is my calendar and the call system I use, build me a CRM to manage all of this"

Yes, tons of iterations and of course you need clarity for what you want the end result to look like… but that is BASICALLY it.

What I'm getting to here is that— GONE are the days that you need to pay for a crazy expensive CRM. You really just need a subscription to your LLM of choice and the willingness to build.

There you have it! — Two suuuperrrr simple things that you can do right now to 1) create a content machine for yourself and 2) ditch your CRM subscriptions

🍩BITE 2 — AI Juice🧃 Literally creating my OC Buzz newsletter with one prompt now

I am now creating my local newsletter each week with one prompt.

Things to note: - it took a little while to dial this in - I still need to go through and finalize everything that was built before I publish it

BUT

This is all from inside Claude and trained on my voice.

Until next time...

Stay in the fight,

Kevin
