You also don’t have to do it all… at least not all at once.
Confession— I had another newsletter pretty much fully written and ready to go, but I changed it up because I think this message needed to be heard…
I am the biggest offender of doing too much. If you’ve been with me here for a bit you already know, but sometimes… SOMETIMES, it gets to be too much.
MOST of the time I thrive with TONS of things going on. I’m always thinking of new ideas, pushing the needle forward with my current builds and still finding the time to connect with others on their things… oh ya and my full time job, 3 kids and wife… like I said, I handle it well MOST of the time…
But there are some days that it all just feels too much. Too many balls, too many ideas swirling, too much to do, too little time.
I know I’m not the only one that experiences this. This can surface in so many other ways. It’s not just hustle related. This is LIFE related.
If you are a human, an ambitious, motivated, person that has dreams and wants to do things more than just take up space… then you are going to feel this at ONE POINT.
So what does it mean? What do you do? What should I do? … seriously. Any thoughts? 🤣
Well— here’s my hot take
This means that you’re pushing your comfort zone. And feeling uncomfortable is just a sign that your old comfort zone is having a hard time keeping up with you.
David Goggins talks about the governor in our minds that stop us from reaching our full potential.
When you are feeling overloaded, it’s because you are… but I truly believe that we adapt to our environment and become capable of handling that new level of overload
What should you do??
Let me first say this— if there is junk that you are doing that does not serve your overall mission and purpose, you need to cut it. Don’t just keep adding things on if they don’t serve you or fire you up.
With that said, you should take a step back for a day or two, really look through the things that you’re doing and what your “mission” is. Reassess as needed and then… keep going.
I believe in you.
I believe you are capable of greatness and amazing freaking things.
Don’t stop just because it’s hard.
It’s not meant to be easy.
You’ll be glad that it wasn’t.
I don’t know if this helped. This is also not super polished nor is it a step by step process of solving this problem. I’m going to keep on adding things in and chasing all the things that my heart desires… but I’m also going to be very intentional about eliminating the junk and honing in on what really truly matters.
As Gary V has famously said:
"I’m the least f**ing focused f**er you’ll ever meet. I have a f**ing wine company, a shoe deal, content, VaynerMedia, a f**ing Wine Library, Gary Vee f**ing baseball cards I’m trying to sell. If you’re a real entrepreneur, you kind of can’t just do one thing. That’s how we’re f**ed up. I’m gonna come up with three business ideas in the next hour, and I’m gonna do that every day, and I’ll probably do two of them in the year, because that’s what makes us happy. You can do both."
BITE 🍩
That was long. I’ll leave you with one bite if you want to watch this full video of Gary V.
Until next time...

I literally built an app WHILE running..
Like actually during the run.
All voice to text
All on my phone
I screen recorded the whole thing so you could see
Did I finish the app by the end? 🤔
