An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success

If there is literally only one thing that you ever take away from my emails, it’d be this —

Stay in the fight.

You’re going to fail.
You’re going to pivot.
You’ll want to quit
You’ll be tired
You’ll be discouraged
You’ll literally not know what to do next
You might be think my one that believes in what you’re doing…

But please
PLEASE
Just stay in the fight.

It’s with consistency over time in tiny, little, microscopic, moves that eventually adds up to really big things.

I’ll almost guarantee you that it won’t feel like it in the moment.

It’ll either feel like NOTHING IS HAPPENING

Or it’ll feel like you’re moving BACKWARDS.

But— and I know this is crazy to say— even moving backwards is a part of the process.

Even THAT is your path to success.

This particular newsletter comes speaks right into a common fear. A fear that creeps in from time to time and hangs onto you like a resistance band pulling you back as you move forward…

The fear that you’ll never reach the level success you’re after.

That you’ll continue to fail and fail and fail and fail some more and then one day you’ll wake up in your 50s, still at the w2 you hate and still not at the level of greatness you’ve been pursuing…

That fear is SO real.
I know this fear all too well and it’s a nasty little bugger.

And I wish there was something that I could say to take the fear away, but it’s actually a good thing. The fear is telling you something.

It’s telling you that you freaking care. That you WANT THIS BAD

Lean into that. If that’s what the fear means, embrace it! Ask for it. feed off of it.

Because it’s the action that you take to avoid the thing you’re afraid of that might actually help you move freaking mountains.

🍩 BITE 1
— Google Ranking > Everything

This one might be SUPER boring, but to a select few, this will be extremely valuable. I’m working on improving my Google profiles for each of the businesses we’re launching. This is my checklist. Let me know if you have any questions on this or if you want to have my team actually work with you to improve yours.

  • Phone number
  • Primary Business category: main one (Chat GPT)
  • Secondary Categories - ask ChatGPT ("you are a google maps SEO expert. you know how to make your profile rank higher on google maps SEO using information from 2024 - 2025 to optimize your advice and make sure it's up to date. It's my own business. We offer (services). We serve homeowners and business owners in (service areas).
  • Description: ask chat GPT "write me a keyword and location heavy description for my google business. The name of the business is XXX. Make sure to emphasize XXX (main service)"
  • Website
  • Social media profiles
  • Service area: all service areas
  • Hours - open 6am to 8pm every day including weekends
  • Photos and videos: upload all work photos and videos (posted on social media) - weekly. Post 10-15 pictures per month
  • Geolmgr: pin pictures in areas where we rank well or where we want more business to happen
  • Reviews: better the higher ranking they have and if they include pictures (for this, we can take pictures for the client,
  • Respond to reviews - strategically (respond mentioning target areas and key word heavy)
  • FAQ's: have an employee make the questions - answer from the business email - both Questions and Answers should be keyword rich and optimized for SEO (use Chat GPT for this as well)- aim to 30 to 40 FAQs
  • GBP products (what we sell): include then adding link for each of them to landing page - use Chat GPT to tell you which category, description to use (make it key word heavy) - at least 10
  • GBP services (what we do): send list of services to chat gpt - ask it to give you a 250 word description for each of the services we do.
  • Add a Bookings Page.
  • Posts: use Pixel to save location data, mention target areas or key word heavy posts (use chat gpt). Schedule all social media posts to be posted here as well
  • Check NAP consistency: check all places where we’re currently listed - check NAP is consistent - make changes where necessary
  • Building Citations: get accounts and listings: yelp, directories, etc with the exact NAP of GBP.
  • Exact match domains

🍩 BITE 2
— Just take the call

Quick note here — Phone calls take time. It’s way easier to text. Emails allow for buffer. voice memos give you time to process and respond… I get it. All of these are easier than being tied to a phone call. BUT, other than being in person, NOTHING compares to the connection that you can build, the issues you can resolve, the businesses you can build— by getting on the phone with someone

🍩 BITE 3
— Mysterypreneur Link

I am absolutely obsessed with Alex’s builds right now. This is freaking awesome.
If you watch this, let me know what you think of something like this. An app to track and share your reads.

🍩 BITE 4
— The AI juice🧃

There’s a lot to know, so let’s make this as simple as possible. You should be using these tools right now

  • ChatGPT
  • Perplexity
  • Manus
  • Claude

Not in any particular order, just start using them.

Until next time...
