Play First, Master Later

Twitter Post

One of the most underrated strategies to get good at almost anything is:

To play.

Just have fun and experiment.

I was watching my son the other day just playing with his toys in the living room, rolling cars across the ground.

Each time he was more accurate with the roll. You could tell he was trying to get it to go somewhere. By the 10th roll, he was landing it in the same spot every time.

Same goes for really anything.

We had @coreyganim on for a community call the other day and people were blown away by what he’s doing in the AI space. (Rightfully so, he’s a rockstar)

They were asking him how he got so comfortable with all these tools.

His answer was simply that he’s had the opportunity to just play with them. Tinker around. Experiment.

You don’t need to write a dissertation on these tool. Just tinker with them and soon enough you’ll be more of an expert than ANYONE you work with.

And as every AI copy writer would say:

That’s where the big unlock is
