Play Up A Level
If you’re not playing up a level, you’re in the wrong room.
This weekend I had the opportunity to be in a room with rockstar entrepreneurs MULTIPLE levels above where I’m playing.
The beauty of this was that it was a reality check.
Not that I didn’t belong but the opposite— the reality check was that I saw what IS possible. And that I could get there.
You can only stay in your head for so long.
While YOU need to your first fan and advocate, the impact of having one on one conversations with people much more successful than you is irreplaceable.
When you’re building, you need to talk to other people building things BIGGER.
Put yourself in rooms that humble you and most importantly be willing to learn from anyone.
