Push The Pace
When I’m out of town, I always try to find a hotel with a sweet pool to get some laps in. Maybe one day I’ll run into @RyanHoliday while he’s getting his swim on.
Today I had NO intention to go that fast. Just a nice little cruise.
But someone hopped in next to me and I couldn’t help myself.
He pushed my pace and I battled
What would have been a slow and steady 2000m ended up being a PR time. And it felt great.

Sometimes you need someone or something to push your pace with whatever it is that you’re doing.
In both business and life, you’re gonna have people hop in to the metaphorical lanes next to you…
It’s on you how you decide to respond to the challenge.
