Real Deals Don’t Need Design
There was an unwritten rule when I was looking for storage facilities to buy—
The emails that looked like this were way more intriguing.
It wasn’t ever said out loud, but the brokers/ wholesalers that sent emails as simple as this ALWAYS had my attention.
(Even if it wasn’t that great of a deal)
The game was to find the most “off market” mom and pop facilities possible and with emails like this, it gave off that “feel”.
This idea is universal though.
People are drawn to the small business vibe these days
They generally want the underdog, not some big corporate company.
And ESPECIALLY now with the advancements in design, AI and every graphic app you can imagine— reverting to the basics holds a lot of weight.
Don’t overcomplicate your messaging.
Plain text will do just fine.
