Redefining Success: My Next 10 Years Start Now
The truth of this is SO real...
While I wasn't quite making $300k, If you added up all the benefits and perks I had, it wasn't too far off from that.
Most would be VERY satisfied with that. Some even dream of doing what I did...
But I knew that I wasn't meant to do it and life is WAY too short to spend the majority of your time doing something that you aren't called to do.
I did the math and it was shocking--
30% of my weekly hours were at work away from home
29% of my hours were sleeping
That was 59% of my week that I was literally not with my family.
I know that many spend much more time away, but that shouldn't be a "badge of courage". That shouldn't be something we should shoot for.
I began my law enforcement career at 24, I left at 34. I plan on the next decade of my life to be as present and fulfilling as possible.
It's not a pipe dream. it's a reality that exist for anyone.
I spoke to a great guy yesterday that makes \$300k/year on a full time job that takes 5-10 hours/week.

And he crushes performance reviews. But he's dissatisfied. Of course he is!
Today's excess of unproductivity helps no one.

One of the many things I'm doing now is working with @mhp_guy building an entrepreneur community to $1M/year.
