She Raised $1.5M Overnight With One Email

Twitter Post

Meet @brittarnason

She’s raised $1.5M overnight with one email

She has $100M+ in real estate

She has 400k combined followers

She’s the real deal

But right now, she only has 688 followers on Twitter…

The math didn’t add up…

So this is what happened next

(@mhp_guy ,your gonna want to talk to Britt)

FIRST,

Britt and I go back. She was kind enough to hop on a podcast of mine last year and go through her entire journey of starting from zero and building a MASSIVE following on IG.

Britt has built a HUGE following on other platforms but recently she popped on Twitter. The problem…

She hasn’t been growing.

It didn’t make any sense to me. She’s DONE the things, has a HUGE portfolio and tons of value to provide…

Why wasn’t she growing??

So, in true @AlexBanayanfashion, I reached out and shot my shot. I’m not an expert, but if there’s any platform I know, it’s Twitter.

britt

And because she’s a rockstar, she responded and was up for chatting.

thanks

Today I had the chance to dive into all these strategies with her and her team and this is how I distilled it down.

@LegacyBuilder__ let me know how I did here:

  1. You start by being the reply guy. Proactive with your engagement. Intentional, valuable, genuine

  2. CONNECT— find the circles in your industry and engage with the “shot callers”. The VIPs if you will. Get on their podcasts, get in their DMs, become someone they think about whenever they think about YOUR THING

  3. VOLUME— Post a ton. Share value, streams of consciousness, long story tweets, threads, videos, everything. Open what you’re building up to the world and OWN IT.

  4. I poured out about 30min worth of tips, but the main one I closed with was connect with @mhp_guy @CoFoundersNik @ShannonJean and then go from there.

Twitter growth (like anything) takes a while… and a ton of time, energy, trial and error.

I still haven’t mastered it yet

But when I see someone who has done as much as Britt has and NOT have a following here, something needs to be adjusted.

This post has multiple purposes

  1. Britt is great and has value that should be shared here

  2. I’m building in public and sharing the journey with you

  3. MOST IMPORTANTLY— You might not be an expert, you might still be in progress doing the things, but you still have value to provide. I’m not at Britt’s level of success BUT I have value I can provide her. Find those people in your niche and provide them with the value you have.
