The Downside of Being Super Ambitious
The downside of being super ambitious—
“Work” often doesn’t feel like work.
Being an entrepreneur, a business builder, a founder… you generally LOVE what you do.
I mean… you’re the one who built it… so that would make sense.
And because of that, it’s hard/ near impossible to “turn off your brain”.
Ideas are always flowing Problems always need to be solved
There will never be a shortage of things to do.
And the love for the work and the progress is important. It feeds our soul. It wakes us up in the morning. It breathes life and energy into us… BUT there has to be a balance.
And while I don’t have the answers and have yet to find the “balance” everyone talks about, I think you start with being AWARE of the regrets that you could have if you forget about what actually matters.

Work hard, but don’t let your work become your identity. Remember WHO you want to spend the fruits of your labor with.
