The Simple System Behind 3,000 Reviews
Do what others are not willing to do and you’ll see results others don’t have…
The other day our dishwasher broke down.
I Google dishwasher repair and found one with 3.1k reviews averaging 4.6 stars.
Solid.
Booked.
They came out, fixed the motor and I paid.
The tech stands there, taps a couple things on his phone and says
“Before I’m able to submit this, can you scan this QR code for a review?”
— Sure man, no problem.
He then tells me to select 5 stars, and make sure to use his name in the review.
— ya man, I’m all about it.
1 min of awkward silence later as I type, it’s submitted
But now I’m curious…
— hey man, does your company require these?
“No, but at the end of the month we are bonused based on our reviews. Not getting them would mean not getting a 5% bonus.”
Absolutely brilliant.
It works too. They got me because I saw the volume of reviews.
Which means a ton of customers.
Which means a ton of money
Which means they can afford to bonus 5%.
If you’re willing to have your employees (or you) sit through the awkwardness, you could make a LOT of money!
