The Tree That Grew With Us!🎄
My wife and I got married at 23. I was still in college and working at a gym. She was out of college, working in a gym and bookkeeping.
Needless to say, we were just scraping by.
For our first Christmas as a married couple we wanted a tree. Nothing special, nothing big, nothing expensive. Just the Toyota of trees if you will.
We went to Home Depot and found ourselves in the 5’-6’ Douglas Fur section.
It checked all the boxes
11 Christmas’s and 3 kids later we have a bigger tree budget but still find ourselves in that section.
We haven’t “made it” yet (at least not in my mind) BUT I’d imagine when we do, we will still find our way to this section.
It’s tradition now.
