I probably shouldn’t say this out loud… 🤫
The reality for most entrepreneurs, isn’t all sunshine and beaches.☀️🏝️
Start ups are HARD. Acquisitions are HARD.
People want to sell the dream and to be honest, people want to be sold on the dream as well.
“Making it” is within reach for all of us. I truly believe that… but the journey isn’t always super sexy.
I can’t speak for everyone, but my mornings aren’t filled with ice baths and meditation.
Nights aren’t sunset walks or drives on the coast.
The day starts at 0400, even on weekends. Because that’s the window I have to jam on projects before I have to get to the station.
On lunch I’m making calls and looking through deals and trying to put ideas into action.
At night after the kiddos go down, I’m up on team meetings and burning the midnight oil.
It’s a grind.
But then you hear advice about eliminating the stress, minimizing the things you’re doing, taking away the distractions, being more present and intentional…
All of that is sound advice, but it’s NOT EASY TO DO.
It’s easy to talk the talk, but when the rubber meets the road, at SOME POINT, the work still needs to get done.
Passive income is earned through years in the trenches. Losing money, losing sleep, losing precious time.
But when there’s something inside of you, calling you to create, to build, to grow, to change the trajectory of your family, to make something bigger than you that will last longer than you…
you really don’t have any other choice.
It’s more than a goal, it’s a purpose.
