The Upside Down Triangle of Business
For happy customers and a well running business, I believe you need to flip the pyramid upside down!
In military or para-military environments, you get the standard pyramid with the enemy at the bottom and everyone doing everything they can to step on the person under them to make the person ABOVE them happy.
General or chief being on the top.
And you’ll see that in companies a lot as well.
But the GREAT companies and GREAT leaders do this upside down.
The leaders are at the bottom doing everything they can to lift up the person “ranked” below them with the purpose and ultimate goal to serve the CUSTOMER better.
