Just finished @neuranne book, “Tiny Experiments”.
SO good. SO practical.
Here are my ==10 favorite quotes== from the book
🧵
1) “I resisted the urge to clarify my end goal and solely focused on showing up.”
2) “Our freedom lies within the gap between stimulus and response… Though we may not have all the information at hand, we can choose movement instead of stagna-tion, exploration instead of paralysis.”
3) “We each have within us unlimited possibilities; purpose is therefore never a singular discovery. Life is a continuous opportunity.”
4) “Confidence isn't a quality we are born with or something that magically happens; it's built through action.”
5) “By being open about the experimental nature of your commu-nity, you encourage others to be open, too.”
6) “You don't need to be an expert to learn in public.
First, remember that =="expertise"== is a ==mirage==; the closer you get, the more illusory it seems.”
7) “As Anaïs Nin said, there will be a day when the risk to remain tight in a bud will feel more painful than the risk it takes to blossom.”
8) “This is how you discover your life's meaning—by focusing on your daily actions rather than the content of your future eulogy.”
9) “You are an evolving canvas, an unfolding story, a great work in the making. All you can do is imagine a world of possibilities and keep on experimenting until you discover what works. Each experience, whether a success or a failure by conventional standards, opens new doors, which you'll pass through with new capability and wisdom.”
10) “…the magic for us lies in discovering the experiences that light that spark.”
