Just because it hasn’t been done before, doesn’t mean it SHOULDN’T be done.

Walt Disney was the essence of being relentless.

Check it out 👇

📌 When Walt Disney put sound to Steamboat Willie, he was told that it would be too difficult and the audiences wouldn’t appreciate it.

OUTCOME: Mickey Mouse was obviously a huge success and this revolutionized the animation industry.

📌 When he wanted to creat a feature length animation (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), it was unheard of. Critics thought it would bankrupt the studio.

OUTCOME: The film earned $8million at the box office DURING the Great Depression

📌 When Walt had the vision to build Disneyland, he was told it was impractical and no one would travel that far to visit an amusement park.

OUTCOME: Well, you know exactly what happened…

THE PROBLEM: You don’t always know during that time, if what you’re doing is going to work. But if you don’t at least try, you’ll guarantee it doesn’t.

And as Walt said:

“All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me… You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”
