What Makes A Good Bio
What makes a good Twitter bio?
Do you try and squeeze all the things you’ve done / do into the bio?
Do promote your latest project?
Are you big enough that you don’t need a bio?
Maybe you keep people guessing…
I have yet to really figure out a bio of mine that I really love and that captures everything.
But here are some top notch examples. I’d love to hear what you all think
🧵

This one’s mine (obviously). This captures a moderate amount of what I do, but it feels like a mouthful.
Feel free to roast it and throw out some suggestions.
Playing around with this one: I chase shiny objects so you don’t have to. Building multiple companies in public. Cop | Dadx3 | newsletter here👇

@mhp_guy leads with the hook. People are into RV parks and investing. He adds personal attributes (IYKYN) and then goes into a lead mag

@ShannonJean coming out swinging with his “whistle” as he calls it. What he’s done and the value he brings

@YoniSmolyar keeping it simple. His authority and then what he’s building

@ImSamThompson also keeping it super simple. One killer sentence and a link to his community

@thepatwalls again with another really simple bio. Focused on the subscriber with the banner and then how he can provide value with the one sentence

@AlexFinnX focuses on his product. Rightfully so, it’s built for anyone trying to grow on Twitter. And it’s legit

@itscoachgoodman leads with being a dad, then a traveler and then an entrepreneur. He’s clear with his priorities and shares that outwardly

@billyjhowell leading with an elevator sentence of what he does and has a Calendly link as well as a link to his site and services

@SherryYanJiang starts off with the products and then finishes strong with the relatability

@AlexHormozi fills all the space, but elegantly explains the two dimensions of what makes him awesome. Leaving just enough room for a piece of free value

@LegacyBuilder__ is family focused and it shows. Showcasing his priorities and then a little bit of an origin story.

The possibilities are endless.
What really makes a good bio that would make you want to follow?
