We all have to start somewhere or find someone who can fill the gap in knowledge.
Henry Ford is famous for saying “I can hire someone to do that”. And while that’s not the answer to everything, the philosophy behind that was that he built a team to do what he couldn’t. It can be done.
While I’m not an expert in ________, I’m very well versed with _________. [List your experience]. I know not everything translates to the industry, but being a good leader is the foundation to nurturing a positive and purpose driven company culture.
Truly, I mean no offense and I hope you see where I’m coming from. I am just extremely ambitious, highly motivated and absolutely relentless with the goals that I have. I also work with a crazy urgency.
I see a TON of opportunity in ________ industry and while this “moat” is difficult, it’s also an advantage for those of us get through it.
Like Randy Pausch said: “The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out; the brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough.They're there to stop the other people.”
