Which Social Media Platform To Use For The Best Results

Twitter Post

@AlexHormozi broke down every single social media platform and its performance.

I took a ton of notes.

This is the exact breakdown for his observations of X

šŸ§µ

Social Media Platform

First off, WHO is in the platform?

While there are other platforms with more in each category, the ability to convert on X makes up for it.

The share button is one of the easiest and most accessible to use. This translates to quality content of yours being shared QUICKLY and without friction. (Sorry, @mhp_guy, I know you like a little friction šŸ˜‰)

Pros and cons:

Pro: you can tweet anything at anytime really quickly. A word, a sentence, an image, a meme, etc.

Con: You have to hone in your ability to write.

šŸ“ŒPro tipā€” To get better at writing, write more. Thatā€™s it. Sounds crazy easy, but itā€™s true.

The culture:

While X is a little bit of a silo, the users of X are hardcore. IYKYK

This yields an avg of 34min per day spent on X.

Iā€™m gonna say itā€™s a lot more for the hardcore users, but 34 is a solid avg.

Depth:

Itā€™s hard to measure depth because you canā€™t really quantify how long someone spends on your post or your page.

The only way to really measure this is through conversion.

Conversion:

The conversion rate is HIGH. Alex tells a story of a business owner that had 8k X followers and makes $5M from those followers. šŸ¤Æ WHAT??

Iā€™ll repeat that. $5M from 8k followers.

HOW?

Simply, he just posts in depth threads with different split tests and the results.

All he has in his bio and cover pic is ā€œIf you want to chat, click my calendar link and book a callā€

He has 8-12 calls per dayā€¦ woah.

So heā€™s probably pretty good at writingā€¦ but the opportunity is there.

Communication:

Moves are made in the messages. Thereā€™s magic in the DMs as they say.

There's a whole world going on through the DMs of X and thatā€™s a huge feature that builds long lasting engagement and community.

You essentially have direct access to ā€œsuperstarsā€ on their platforms. And for the most part, they reply. (@ShannonJean, youā€™re the man)

DM DONTā€™S:

Donā€™t just DM with an askā€¦ For example: ā€œCan we hop on a call?ā€

The answer will most likely be ā€œUh, noā€¦ā€ from the superstar youā€™re chatting with.

Talk about specific threads of theirs and what you liked about it. And WHY. Once they respond, THEN you can ask

Because of all this, thereā€™s a HIGH convertibility of the audience

So what do these results translate to for Hormozi?

X is Alex hub for content.

He consumes it the most and creates content on the fly the most with X

X feeds all the other platforms for him.

Fun fact:

The captions and long form writings on other platforms all originate from his tweets. Now you know.

If you ever see written word from him, itā€™s all from him and most likely started on X. No ghost writers. All from that noodle of his.

So what does this mean?

The ability to repurpose is extremely high

Numbers:

Itā€™s a 1:1 conversion ratio from the number of subscribers from X and the % that go to his site.

TL:DR

X has extremely high convertibility

The audience you build might be small, but itā€™s MIGHTY

If youā€™re not repurposing content from X, youā€™re missing out

Donā€™t F with an X user. Weā€™re hardcore.

If you enjoyed this, youā€™d like the other content I have as well. It all comes from me, no ghost writers or AI. @kevinasrx
