You don’t need any special note taker.
It doesn’t need to be AI powered.
It does'nt need to be understood by anyone else other than you.
For years now, this has been my process:
1) I have a note for things top of mind. I brain dump all my to-dos in there
2) I check it off when completed
3) I put all the completed things in a note JUST for completed things
4) rinse and repeat
Is this the most organized? No. But it works.
Functionality over perfection
