You Only Get 18 Summers
Years ago I read the book “The Family Board Meeting; You have 18 summers to create lasting connections with your children”
The title pretty much says it all, but the book itself is a must read for any parent
I’ve since re read it several times and have taken the concepts to heart.
One on one quality time with each of your kids is something that has to be intentional.
Especially when you have more than one.
With that, every year I schedule out solo trips with each kid.
It doesn’t have to be big or expensive but it does have to be intentional.
Today was Zootopia 2, pizza and a night away in a hotel watching movies.
Don’t blink or you’ll miss these days.
